Pocket Sheriff Access Desktop

This software resides on the server only. It is very easy to use and has 4 basic functions, each represented by an icon and descriptive text. They are:

1. Create data: Downloads all unfinalized cases, as well as all  information related to the making of returns into the sync database. Nothing for you to do except start it!

2. Process data: Allows office staff to check and upload completed returns from the sync database into the main database. Nothing for you to do except check and upload it!

3. Synchronize. Transfers new data to the devices and extracts completed data from the devices. Actually, this is done using Microsoft ActiveSync software. Nothing for you to do except start it!

4. Log. This log shows the movement between the main and sync databases for all processes. Can be printed. You can trim (or print) the log.

PROCESS DATA

This window allows the office staff to check the returns from the devices and contains all the necessary controls to fix mistakes "on the fly".

When all has been checked, you click the Upload button and its all over!
